Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, it has been the priority of FIRST to comply with local guidelines and to take all appropriate precautions in order to provide worship and discipleship tools to our church family in the safest manner possible.  While taking such precautions means we are all inconvenienced somewhat, we believe that is not only proper to trust our local officials, but also it is best to maintain an abundance of caution to help protect all ages of individuals and families who are part of our church and community.

Currently, Jackson County, MO is requiring that everyone in a public space wear face masks.  This includes houses of worship, even if social distancing is maintained.  In response to this requirement, we are asking every person who attends FIRST to please wear an appropriate mask.   We will also continue to practice safe social distancing in our Worship Center and throughout the rooms of our facility.

On Sunday, August 16, we are excited to relaunch our Sunday morning adult and family ministries!

In-Person Worship: We will resume two worship services at 9:00 & 10:30.

Families with kids and students: We are excited to also resume kids and student ministries with modified schedules. We have developed protocols and safety precautions that we ask each family to follow to ensure everyone's safety.  Please take time to review the complete details of our family relaunch plan.

Adult growth groups: Most growth classes are going to be meeting in person. Click here for specific class information.

Online Worship: If you choose not attend in-person, we invite you to continue to join us for our worship livestream.  Beginning August 16, we will stream both the 9:00 and 10:30 worship services.  The stream begins ten minutes prior with pre-service fun and important information from our team.

We are continually monitoring changes in the Covid-19 situation, and we will take additional steps as appropriate.  We encourage you to stay engaged through life groups and online opportunities, and please remember that even when everyone is not physically gathered together our ministry still continues throughout Jackson County.  Thank you for continuing to be faithful in your giving to help make this possible.
