For the health and safety of our community and those that we serve, IMPACT Ministries will temporarily close. As you can imagine, this decision was extremely difficult to make. This decision was based on the flu season hitting our volunteer population aggressively, along with current recommendations from the CDC regarding the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19). The closure will begin Monday, March 16, and last until it is deemed appropriate to resume weekly services.

The IMPACT Ministry Family Resource Center is an assistance ministry based at FIRST, which includes a Food Pantry and Caring Listeners. We partner with other area churches, businesses, social service organizations, government agencies, and individuals to serve community families.

Our mission is to help meet the emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of low-income families and individuals in crisis throughout our communities.  You may call our 24-hour phone line, (816) 229-8030 (option 1), to hear prayer and words of comfort from the Bible.
