DRIVE-THRU GROCERY PICK UP

For more that 25 years, our church has faithfully responded to and met the spiritual and felt needs of our neighbors through our IMPACT Ministry. In particular, we help families and individuals with food insecurity needs. We also assist with toiletries and diapers. Our desire is to see our neighbors and love them well.

We currently serve approximately 400+ families a week through the drive thru pantry, a mobile market at Valley View High School, Community Meals, on-site engagement at local hotels, support at area senior centers and more.

Our mission as a church is to embody the Great Commandment and the Great Commission…To Know Christ and Make Christ Known. Loving our neighbors is at the heart of who we are as a church.

There are many ways to get involved in serving our neighbors across the community. Contact Pastor Matt Sprink to learn more.

GROCERY PICK UP POLICIES AND PRACTICES

HOW MANY SETS OF GROCERIES CAN A CAR COLLECT?

  • You can only pick up one set of groceries per registered account at IMPACT.  You may only be listed under one account.
  • If someone from another account rides with you, they can also pick up groceries for their own account, assuming they are registered and have a photo ID.

TO COLLECT GROCERIES AT IMPACT:

  • You need to be registered in our system under the account that you want to pick up food for at IMPACT.
  • You need to be present at pick up, or have another registered adult from your account present.  For example, if your grandmother needs you to pick up groceries for her, you would need to be listed under her account.  You can pick up food for that account, but not that one and another.  Only one pick up allowed per account per week.
  • You need to be able to present a photo ID (utility bills are no longer necessary).
  • You are invited to come one time each week.

To locate other service agencies (including housing, rent, motels, and utilities), call 211 (or 816-474-5112) for United Way information, or visit www.uwgkc.org.
