DAY TWELVE
Community
Scripture:
1 Corinthians 12:4-7
There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. 5 There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. 6 There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.
7 Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.
Observation:
• Think about someone you know that is using their gifts to serve. How has their obedience affected you?
• The passage states that the use of other gifts is for the common good, to help others, to help the entire church. How are you using your gifts to benefit the community? What needs to happen for you to walk in obedience?
Apply:
How can you apply this to your life today?
Prayer:
Father God,
Thank you for providing a variety of spiritual gifts. Thank you for allowing me to benefit when others walk in obedience. Help me identify my gifts so that I can put them to use for the good of my community and as a way to be a good steward of what you have given me. Thank you for gifting me so that I may serve you and those around me.
Pray for the REFUEL kickoff tonight. Pray for the students attending and the adults serving.
